JRCS Annual Give

 

Each year, Juniper Ridge Community School (JRCS) asks for your support by donating during our Annual Give fundraiser.  As you know, we are a tuition-free charter public school open to all children, and have special challenges that traditional public schools do not. We continue to receive less state and local funding per child than other public schools. We also give more – with smaller class sizes, an innovative curriculum, and a philosophy that focuses upon the whole child, we do more with less and therefore have to stretch funding to cover all expenses.

We are continually growing closer to our aim of creating an excellent, sustainable and community oriented school that students value and want to attend. We rely on the generosity of families, like yours, who value what we do. It is easy to think of being asked to contribute as an obligation.  We ask you to think of this fundraiser not as another drain on your family, but bestowing a treasured gift to a very worthy cause.  Your support of the Annual Give Fund helps to ensure that we continue to cultivate what we do well, and thrive into the future. Having financial security also allows us to control how we shape our school more fully.


Where do campaign funds go?

Your donation contributes directly towards the school’s operating budget to provide teacher training and support; make enrichment activities like gardening, woodworking and band available; and hold festivals and celebrations for the children.
Why is my participation important?
While we do have a monetary goal for this campaign, our core goal is 100% participation from all parents, Board members, faculty, and staff.  We are always seeking grants and gifts from outside sources and high participation is a vote of confidence. It is a sign to outside funders that the community is invested in supporting the school’s mission.
Our Goal:
Our 2017 goal is 100% participation. A gift from every JRCS family will make it possible to reach our monetary goal…even surpass our goal!  What we ask is for you to make a meaningful and fiscally comfortable contribution that works for your family. The only gift too small is no gift at all.

How to Give:
ONLINE: This year we have partnered with Colorado Gives for online donations.  Not only is this an easier way for you to give your gifts online, it also enables us to be eligible for the $1M incentive fund that is given out for funds raised on Colorado Gives Day, December 5, 2018.  You can make your payment HERE.

CHECKS/CASH: Payments can be made by check or cash with the attached pledge card to JRCS at 640 24-1/2 Rd, Grand Junction, CO 81505. Recurring payments can be made on a monthly basis.

Donations to Juniper Ridge Community School are tax deductible as allowed by law. The school’s Tax ID is 45-518556.
