Giving & Growing Together

The JRCS Walk-a-thon is an annual, student-driven fundraiser and our largest, school-wide student fundraising event of the year.


The annual JRCS  Walk-a-Thon will be held on Friday, September 9th during the school day.

Last year, we raised over $14,000. This year our goal is to raise at least $15,000. All the monies raised during this fundraiser go directly back to each student’s classroom to help fund field trips, activities, supplies, and classroom needs. All monies raised by staff will go to support staff appreciation, training, and team building.

All students in grades 1st-8th will participate in this year’s walk-a-thon (regardless of pledges) and will receive a 2022 JRCS t-shirt.


Students ask people to be “sponsors”. You may consider asking friends, family, neighbors, business associates, local businesses, and others in the community who want to support your child and Juniper Ridge Community School. Sponsors will donate a single, fixed amount ($10, $25, $100) and not an amount based on laps or minutes walked. No pledge is too small!

In Person: Students can collect money and record the pledge amount and the Donor’s name on the Pledge Form. Checks can be written to Juniper Ridge Community School. Students should turn pledge forms and money into their classroom by Monday, September 12h.

Online: Pledges can be paid online by using the classroom link below. Donors will be asked to include child’s name.

All donations (online and in-person) are tax deductible. The school’s Tax ID is 45-518556.
